Hilarious Video Sums Up How Parents Act Before Having Company Over

Let me set the scene. It’s Christmas morning. You have just finished unwrapping your gifts. You’re enjoying a mug of cocoa while lazily checking out your awesome scores from Santa.

Suddenly, your mom bursts in the room, a panic-stricken look on her face. “The cousins will be here in two hours! Get up and start cleaning!” she shrieks. “I want this place looking spotless!”

Sound familiar? If so, you are going to love this hilarious video from comedian Chris Fleming. In the short clip, Fleming perfectly brings to the life the absolute mania that takes over a parent trying to get the house ready for the holidays.

“No can know we live here!” she shrieks, pushing in chairs, tossing around dish-rags and vacuuming with intense precision.

The video is a must-share, and siblings everywhere are sending around the clip, saying: “Doesn’t this remind you of Mom?”

The character is the brain-child of Chris Fleming, a comedian who became an instant success on YouTube with his clever creation of Gayle Waters-Waters (yes, that’s her full name). The series “GAYLE” helped to launch Fleming’s unique brand of humor and spot-on imitations. Now, the video “COMPANY IS COMING!” has over 4 million views on YouTube.

The comedian told Forbes that the idea for his Gayle character came from a shopping trip he took to Crate & Barrel. There, he saw a woman that inspired him to bring Gayle to life, and after using her character in his stand-up show, he decided to bring her to life with the help of director Melissa Strype.

Fleming describes Gayle as:

“Gayle’s a middle-aged woman, stay at home mom type who descends deeper into madness each week. She’s frantic and desperate and will stop at nothing to maintain status in her community. I came up with her in ’09, saw a woman in Crate and Barrel that really inspired me. She was digging through place mats like it was Armageddon.”

Hmm… I think we all can relate to that feeling of panic that comes over you when you realize COMPANY IS COMING! and your house isn’t spic and span. (Or, as Gayle would say, “I want this place looking like Disney on Ice!”

There are multiple videos of GAYLE to enjoy on YouTube, so head on over and LOL till your face hurts from laughing so hard.

This Hot Glue Gun For Cheese Is The Holiday Gift We All Need

Do you have a cheese-lover on your holiday gift list? (Answer: Yes.) Then you need to get in on this amazing “hot glue gun” for cheese.

Called the “Fondoodler,” this innovative new kitchen tool takes cheese (any cheese your little heart desires) and warms it, turning it into ooey, gooey, squirty deliciousness.

The sky is the limit, from homemade cheesy tortilla bowls to jalapeno poppers.

And whether you want to use Kraft American or a fancy cheese spread for a party, the Fondoodler can do it all.

What a great idea! People love cheese… but no one likes sitting there and painstakingly cutting slice after a slice, especially when they are preparing a large party plate.

Plus, the texture of gooey cheese is just divine! Yet the idea of buying cheese in a spray can is a bit off-putting to most people. It might taste pretty good, but you are left wondering: What the heck is in this?

Well, with the Fondoodler your spray cheese anxiety will be no more. You can have that melty texture without having to question the quality of your queso.

Plus, the Fondoodler is just plain fun! Look at all the cool stuff you can do with this guy:

Yes that’s a Lincoln Log cabin made out of pretzel rods and squeeze cheese. Honest Abe himself would be pleased.

Or make a taco night more fun with a spray-your-own cheese nacho bar:

Or make a dream home out of cheese and crackers:

Or just add some to bread and make an awesome grilled cheese! The possibilities are endless. And since the Fondoodler is only $25, you can’t go wrong with this quirky and memorable gift over the holidays.

Now, if they just made one for chocolate too…

Pentatonix’ Rendition Of ‘Hallelujah’ Is All You Need To Hear Today

Grammy Award-winning a cappella group, Pentatonix, has done it again!

After releasing this beautiful “Jolene” cover with Dolly Parton in 2016, the group dropped a holiday album titled, “A Pentatonix Christmas.” On the album is a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”  And we have to warn you… It will give you serious goosebumps. The cover of this classic song is truly beautiful, making it feel like the holidays year-round! Check out the song and the music video below.

Since its release, the music video has gone viral, and Pentatonix fans have gone wild about the new song.

#PTXHallelujah is by far my favorite rendition of Hallelujah, so incredibly moving. It brings me to tears. Thank you @PTXofficial

Just heard my new favorite song ever. #PTXHallelujah is so awesome. Please give it a listen. @PTXofficial

In addition to “Hallelujah,” “A Pentatonix Christmas” features 10 other holiday songs, each more wonderfully stunning than the last. From a modern twist on the classic tune “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” to a peppy take on NSYNC’s song “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” and a few originals, this is a must-have on your holiday list!

We have a feeling that this version of “Hallelujah” would warm even Scrooge’s heart during the holidays.

Love this song? Make sure you check out this 1,500-person choir singing it with Rufus Wainwright (who performed the version made popular from the movie “Shrek”).

Here Are The 4 New Christmas Movies Hallmark Has Added To Its Show Schedule

You know you love a good Hallmark Christmas movie marathon as much as I do. There’s nothing quite like cuddling up on the couch with cocoa and a Hallmark movie.

My TV is always on this channel during the holiday season. It’s the background noise as we decorate the tree and bake cookies. These are the movies that bring everyone together for a nighttime viewing session. (We usually fall asleep before we ever get to see Santa, however!)

If this sounds like the kind of thing you’re planning for the holidays, too, then you’ll be excited to know that Hallmark has added four all-new Christmas movies to the lineup.

So, you know what that means? You’re bound to have a few more favorites to add to the list this year. Although, it never gets old re-watching the same movies from the year before.

Lucky for you, the entire range of movies begin airing on Oct. 29, as we previously reported. You can check out the entire schedule for holiday movies here, but in case you’re interested in knowing when the new ones begin, you can see when they’re slated to premiere below and learn a little more about each one:

“Journey Back to Christmas”

Show date: Friday, Nov. 25, 8 p.m.

Starring: Candace Cameron Burre, Oliver Hudson

A nurse from the World War II Era travels in time to 2016. She meets Jake, who teaches her that the true meaning of Christmas remains the same, all these years later. The spirit of the season is timeless.

“Broadcasting Christmas”

Show date: Sunday, Nov. 27, 8 p.m.

Starring: Melissa Joan Hart, Dean Cain, Jackée Harry

Two news anchors are vying for the position to cohost a TV show. To prove themselves, they’re asked to cover “the most meaningful Christmas stories,” and in doing so, they realize that there’s so much more to life than “the dream job,” according to Hallmark.

“Christmas Angel in Training”

Show date: Monday, Nov. 28, 8 p.m.

Starring: Kristin Davis, Eric McCormac, Shirley MacLaine

Kristin Davies plays a work-holic who has passed away and is now in training to be a Christmas angel in this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. To become the angel, though, she has to help a struggling musician use music to help his family come together, and she learns about love and the spirit of the season along the way.

“A Dream of Christmas”

Show date: Saturday, Dec. 3, 8 p.m.

Starring: Nikki DeLoach, Andrew Walker

Penny, a young married woman, is granted a wish to become single again. Everything seems great in her new life. Great job, nice car, but she has never met her husband. So, she decides to track him down and fall in love with him all over again.
