The Reese’s Krispy Kreme Donut Is Finally Coming To The U.S.
Reese's classic peanut butter cup meets a glazed Krispy Kreme? This is a match made in heaven.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Reese’s have teamed up to create the ultimate sweet treat. This combo is everything you love about Krispy Kreme and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups combined—so naturally, you’re going to love this limited-edition item.
The doughnut has been made available in the U.K. and in Australian markets, and Americans were starting to get a bit jealous.
A change.org petition was even in circulation at one point in time asking the company to bring the Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnut to the U.S. Yeah, that’s how badly the U.S. wanted to get in on the peanut-buttery doughnut goodness!
The Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Donut is filled with a Reese’s peanut butter cream filling then dipped in chocolate icing and topped with peanut butter chips, peanut butter drizzle and peanuts. Of course, you get all this along with the classic Krispy Kreme melt in your mouth dough, so there’s literally nothing not to love about this food mash-up.
“Similar to our hot, fresh doughnuts, the matchmaking of chocolate and peanut butter is a delicious combination that consumers have enjoyed for generations,” Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, said in a statement. “In partnering with The Hershey Company, we’re satisfying an intense desire that Krispy Kreme and Reese’s fans never knew they had.”
Yep, they’re making all of your dreams come true.
This deliciousness will only be available for a limited time at participating shops in the U.S., and you can go to the Krispy Kreme website to find a participating shop near you.
The doughnuts will be available starting Aug. 4, but The Showstopper Shows YouTube channel had the chance to taste the sweet treat a little early, and they’re giving it a rave review.
The doughnuts will retail for just $1.69 a piece, so if you’re a peanut butter fan, you better make sure you get your hands on these while you can. Because seriously—an opportunity to taste something this amazing is too good to pass up.
