It looks good enough to eat!
If your idea of the perfect night at home is ordering a pizza, watching Netflix, and snuggling into a warm blanket, you are going to love Pizza Hut’s latest partnership. Now, not only can you sink your teeth into a piping hot slice of delicious pizza, you can actually wrap yourself in a weighted blanket made to look just like a pepperoni pizza with cheese.
It’s called the Pizza Hut Gravity Original Pan Weighted Blanket, a collaboration with Gravity Blankets, and it does almost look good enough to eat. It’s a pizza lover’s dream come true, honestly: having your favorite food in bed without worrying about making a mess!
We have to admit looking at the blanket in the custom-made pizza box almost had us fooled. But, this truly is a fun example of the trendy weighted blankets, which have been shown to help ease anxiety symptoms. And with 2020 being the year it has been, now might be the perfect time for a huge weighted blanket that looks like a pepperoni pizza.
“There’s no better way to close out 2020 than eating a Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza while wrapped in the warmth and comfort of the Original Pan Weighted Blanket,” said George Felix, chief marketing officer, Pizza Hut, in a press release. “This partnership with Gravity Blanket was the perfect solution to bring one of our legendary pizzas to life while bringing our fans a little TLC at the same time.”
The $150 blanket measures 72 inches in diameter and weighs 15 pounds. That is big enough for a bed, couch, or your favorite cozy chair. It has a micro-plush duvet cover for warmth and comfort, which can be removed for machine washing if you happen to spill some pizza on it.
The Gravity Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza Weighted Blanket was so popular when it was released last week that it’s already sold out. However, if you want to get your hands on this comfy pizza pie, don’t worry. You can get on the Gravity waiting list and be notified as soon as the weighted blankets are back in stock!
