‘Pioneer Woman’ Invites Fans To Visit Her Oklahoma Ranch
Ever wanted to spend a day in The Pioneer Woman's world? Now you can!
Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, wants fans of her popular Food Network TV show and blog to stop by for a visit. So, grab your bags and get your calendars ready. We’ve got the details on the open house dates.
Pioneer Woman Sends Fans Open Invitation
Drummond plans to open The Lodge—the family guest house on her Oklahoma ranch—for fans to tour over the summer. The Lodge acts as the production home for Drummond’s insanely popular show “The Pioneer Woman.”
The official invitation from The Pioneer Woman came from her own website:
Come to Pawhuska and enjoy The Mercantile for a whole day…or two! There’s plenty to do (and eat) both inside The Merc and around Osage County, and we’d love to have you in our neck of the woods. Bring your sweetie, bring your mom, bring your cousins, bring a group of old friends. We want you to enjoy the heck out of The Merc and Pawhuska!
Fans can stop by The Lodge on June 1-3, June 5-10 and June 12-17. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can stop by to tour the location. While there are no guarantees, the show could have scheduled taping during those days, so fans might even get a chance to see The Pioneer Woman in action!
A Detour Before The TV Set Tour
Anyone interested in visiting The Lodge must first head to Drummond’s store, The Mercantile. Then, according to the store’s official website:
“Ask a Merc employee for directions after you’ve enjoyed your time at The Merc, and they will give you instructions. (There’s no charge — we just want you to have fun!)”
OK, Pioneer Woman. That’s a pretty savvy way to get people to stop by your store!
Honestly, though, The Merc doesn’t need much marketing push. The store averages about 6,000 visitors each day (with up to 15,000 some days.) Considering Pawhuska, Oklahoma’s population normally sits at about 3,500, that’s a lot of visitors for a small town to handle.
