Pink proves yet again that she is the queen bee of cool moms. I mean, she may be an award-winning singer, dancer, songwriter and actress with an awesome hubby, but that doesn’t mean she’s a perfect mom. She consistently keeps it real, shedding some of the gloss of stardom to show us she really is just like us.
For example, over a year ago, she posted support for breastfeeding in an Instagram post, captioning it: “In honor of #nationalbreastfeedingweek2016 I proudly post this photo of a very HEALTHY, NATURAL act between mother and child. Taken in Helsinki by a very supportive and proud Papa.”
Another time, she showed us she’s accepting of her postpartum body by posting a pic of herself with her daughter, saying “Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly-‘mama-why r u so squishy?’And I said…’b/cuz I’m happy baby.'”

Then there was the time she shared a pic of herself napping while her daughter played on an iPad, writing “Babe, Mamas just gonna take a quick nap here while this iPad babysits you. #multitasking #mamastired #rehearsals #whydokidswakeupsoearly #herfavoritemovieisgremlins #whatchagotformeinstagrampolice”
But her latest tweet shows us not only who she is as a mom, but her compassion for other mothers. In tweeting about an encounter with another mom, she writes, “We cried together” and “I wish us mamas could give each other a break.” Yes, Grammy-award-winning Pink cried with another mom in the grocery store.
A really sweet Mama came up 2me tonight at the grocery store and told me some nice words about how she gets strength from my parenting cause I’m not afraid to fuck up in public. We cried together. It’s so hard. Y’all. I wish us mamas could give ourselves and each other a break.

Pink does seem to have no problem messing up in public. She’s always open with her flaws and struggles with both marriage and parenthood, consistently inspiring fans everywhere.
She once even posted this gem on Instagram, saying, “Oh my god I’m so tired my soul has a headache but I’m so okay with it so whatever I’m just gonna take this little catnap real quick wake me up in ten seconds.”
Pink is a perfect example of why we need a whole lot less mom-shaming and a whole lot more mom-supporting.
