First, you will want to make the doughy part of brownies. Betty Crocker recommends that you use one box of their dark chocolate fudge brownie mix. You’ll also need water, butter, eggs and several cups of mini pretzel twists.

You will make the peanut butter swirl that goes into the brownies separately. For that, you’ll need creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Lastly, you’ll need semisweet chocolate chips and more butter for the chocolate glaze.

Prepare the brownies as you would any brownie recipe, but you’ll also break half of the pretzel twists into pieces and stir them into brownie batter. Then you spread half of the batter into the pan and set the rest aside for later.

Next, you’ll combine peanut butter swirl ingredients until smooth, and add it by the spoonful on to the brownie batter in the pan. Use a knife to swirl the mixes together and then top with the rest of the pretzel bites.

After baking this pan of brownies, you’ll need to allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Towards the end of that cooling time, you can start to make the chocolate glaze. When the brownies are no longer hot but the glaze is nice and melty, drizzle the glaze over the cooled brownies. Let your masterpiece rest for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
