Copycat Chick-Fil-A Chicken Nugget And Sauce Recipe

Yum!

Chick-Fil-A makes a great chicken nugget. It’s probably my favorite fast food option when I’m traveling, and it’s always the one fast food that I crave when I haven’t had it for a while.

If you’re a fan of these nuggets, too, you’re probably also thinking about that tangy sauce that comes with them right about now. There’s nothing quite like this one-two combo!

The good news is that Passion For Savings has created a recipe that replicates those tasty nuggets so you can make them at home and save a little money. It even includes the sauce.

For the nuggets, you’ll need a pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, along with some ingredients you probably already have on hand, like milk, flour, an egg, and salt and pepper.

There’s one ingredient in this recipe that might surprise you, though — pickle juice. And you’ll need an entire cup of it. The pickle juice serves as a marinade for the chicken (after you cut it into bite-sized chunks and pop it into the fridge for four hours), .

The sauce from Passion for Savings just calls for three ingredients: Ken’s Steakhouse honey mustard dressing, Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar.

Passion for Savings has the full recipe for the nuggets and sauce.

Chick-Fila-A’s Secret Sauce

That Chick-Fil-A sauce hits the spot, and @chickfila knows it! As it turns out, this fan favorite is simply a mix of three condiments you probably have in your house already: honey mustard, barbecue sauce and ranch dressing. A little experimentation will get you the right combination, if you don’t want to use the recipe above.

Here’s a post of the sauce with their waffle fries, posted to their official Instagram account.
