Miranda Lambert Was Moved To Tears After Bringing A Little Girl Onstage To Sing With Her
It was such a sweet moment!
When country music superstar Miranda Lambert called an 8-year-old fan onstage to help her sing “All Kinds of Kinds,” she likely had no idea the experience would leave her in tears.
As you can see in the video posted below, Lambert saw a young fan in the front row of her Witchita, Kansas, stop on her Wildcard Tour. The excited fan was wearing a big white homemade bow that read, “You can ride in my little red wagon,” a reference to Lambert’s 2014 single “You Can’t Ride in My Little Red Wagon.” She told the crowd that the little girl had stolen her heart all night long, so she invited little Remi onstage with her.
Remi was so overwhelmed to meet the country singer, she started to sob. Lambert made sure the little girl was okay, and then she struck up “All Kinds of Kinds” — only to suddenly break down in tears herself.
Lambert motioned for the band to continue while she collected herself, and then she and her young fan finished singing the song together.
It’s no wonder the former “Nashville Star” competitor was so touched by Remi’s joy at being onstage. Lambert has spoken before about how “All Kinds of Kinds” is a song that speaks to her on a very deep level.
“‘All Kinds of Kinds’ is such a different song. To me, I heard this — my producer sent it to me — and I don’t know, I just identified with it immediately,” the Grammy award-winning singer told 94.9 Star Country. “I found my niche, I found my spot in country music, and everyone’s uplifted me through that, and winnin’ awards and havin’ hits, but I still feel like I’m a little bit different. And I’m glad for that.”
And no doubt Remi is glad for that as well. What a magical moment for this little girl, and for us to witness as well!
