Mars Wrigley Confectionery Is Looking For Interns Who Love Candy
Does this sound like your dream job? Here's how to apply!
Do you love candy? A rhetorical question — I know. But if you really love candy (I mean, really, really love it), Mars Wrigley Confectionery has an opportunity that might just be the perfect fit.
Makers of beloved candies M&Ms, Snickers, Skittles and more, Mars Wrigley is looking for interns for their World’s Sweetest Internship program. The internship lasts 8–12 weeks, is fully paid and includes a signing bonus of a year’s worth of candy. All you have to do for your chance at interning is meet a few qualifications, fill out a form and you’re in the running!
You need to be at least 21 years old (but possess the mindset of a kid in a candy store!), be a high school graduate, want to write about and photograph candy and be a self-starter. Oh, and you should have some basic candy knowledge, like the ability to name all five fruity flavors of the Skittles rainbow. (LOL!)
You will also need some technical skills in the areas of writing, communication and organization, familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in traveling to the Chicagoland Mars Wrigley Confectionery offices, manufacturing sites and media events.
Mars Wrigley says the ideal candidate will get a VIP look “beneath the wrapper” and will have a chance to make an impact on the community of Chicago through their mission to create #BetterMoments. Duties include traveling to the Mars Wrigley Confectionery manufacturing sites, coordinating other interns, capturing your experience for social media channels and, of course, sampling the candy (including some that have not yet been released to the public!). Best internship ever!
If you think you qualify, just head over to the Mars Wrigley’s website to fill out a short form and upload your resume and cover letter.
Wouldn’t you love to intern at Mars Wrigley?
