Jason Priestley’s Daughter Dressed As Kelly Taylor For School Dance

His 11-year-old daughter, Ava, is obsessed with the show.

Things that were a hit in the ’90s are making a comeback. Everything from jelly sandals to TV shows from the decade are popping up again, and this photo of Jason Priestley’s daughter dressing up as a “Beverly Hills, 90210” character serves as the perfect example of the enduring influence of the ’90s.

Priestley played Brandon Walsh in the hit TV series, and now everything’s really come full circle, because his 11-year-old daughter, Ava, is obsessed with the show.

She’s so in love with the series her dad was part of that when a ’90s themed dance rolled around at her school, she wanted to go as none other than Kelly Taylor, who is played by Jennie Garth and is Ava’s dad’s on-screen romance in the show.

Priestley’s wife posted about the moment the two “worlds collided” on Instagram:

“It’s now come full circle. This is my beautiful daughter @ava.priestley Her father is @jason_priestley from the original 90210 TV series in the 90’s. Tonight, at my daughters [sic] school, they held a 90’s theme dance for the middle schoolers. Ava just started watching old DVD’s of 90210 and absolutely [loves] it. She is totally obsessed and wanted to go as Kelly Taylor tonight. I can’t……worlds are colliding,” the mom captioned the post.
