Disney World Now Has A Bourbon Trail For Whiskey-Loving Guests
This looks awesome! Who says Disney World is just for kids?
If you think Walt Disney World is just for kids, we might just have the news that could change your mind. For a limited time, Disney World’s Disney Springs area is inviting guests (ages 21 and over, of course) to experience a unique attraction for bourbon whiskey lovers.
A collection of 18 restaurants and bars around Disney Springs — which is basically a large outdoor mall and entertainment venue — are offering a variety of bourbon-influenced drinks and delicious food pairings. All you need is a map, an appetite and, perhaps, a designated driver to make sure you get home safely!
Here’s a look at the map of spots taking part in the Disney Springs bourbon trail:
Some of the 18 locations participating in the bourbon trail include:
- House of Blues
- The Edison
- The Polite Pig
- The Ganachery
- Chef Art Sith’s Homecomin’
- Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant
If you enjoy barbecue with your bourbon, then you might want to head over to Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Don’t let the bowling fool you, though. Splitsville is known for its yummy dishes! And, its bbq chicken pizza pairs perfectly with The Trifecta bourbon drink. The Trifecta blends Old Forester 100 proof bourbon, Carpano Antica vermouth, Benedictine and Pimento Dram.
The Boathouse restaurant features the Orlando Pride: a bourbon drink with a homemade blackberry citrus purée. Put that together with the house calamari appetizer and you’ve got a great combination!
The Disney Springs Bourbon Trail is only scheduled to run until June 17, so if you plan on being at Disney World before then and love your whiskey, don’t miss your chance for this fun and refreshing adults-only experience!
