There’s nothing quite like warm, baked cookies fresh from the oven, unless of course, you sit around and eat all of the dough before those rounds ever see their way into the oven. That, my friends, is also pure bliss.
Now, Kit Kat’s giving folks a way to enjoy that feeling, even when they’re on-the-go (because apparently there are times when walking around with a tub of cookie dough may not be socially acceptable). Good looking out, Nestle!
These Kit Kats stuffed with cookie dough were recently spotted by The Impulsive Buy on shelves in Canada. They’re not just your average four pack of Kit Kats, either. No, they’ve chosen their biggest bar (the BIG KAT) to stuff chock full of cookie dough. Sounds amazing, huh?
Before you get too excited—I must tell you, these are not yet being sold in America. They’re already available in Canada and Europe, where they debuted last fall. Hopefully these KitKats, like the Oreo Cadbury Eggs before them, will make their way to the States post-haste! (Maybe we can start a petition?)
Kit Kat Chunky Cookie Dough, $24.95, Amazon
As with many food products, the packaging looks a little different depending on the country where they are sold. Here’s the European packaging below, that this lucky guy was happy to get his hands on:
If your heart is set on having this classic candy bar/cookie dough mash-up in your life sooner rather than later (I can’t say I blame you!), then you’ll be pleased to know that you can purchase the bar online via Amazon. It’ll set you back about $25, but hey, that’s a small price to pay for such deliciousness, am I right?
The reviews for this sweet combo have come rolling in, and according to the Food Review UK YouTube channel, what lies in the middle of this bar isn’t like the sugary, thick goodness you’d whip up at home. It’s more like a cream filling, but that still sounds amazing.
The channel gave the bar three out of five stars because the cookie dough flavor wasn’t quite as strong as hoped, but three out of five’s not bad.
Personally, I’m still convinced I’d love this cookie candy bar, just because I love a regular old Kit Kat. So, how could the addition of dough (in any form) ever be a bad thing?
