Chick-Fil-A Is Rolling Out Mac-And-Cheese At Locations Across The Country
Yum! We can't wait to try this!
The amazing service at Chick-fil-A has always been enough to pull us in the door, but now the restaurant has given our foodie heartstrings another tug with an addition to the menu — macaroni and cheese!
It’s the first new side dish offered at Chick-fil-A since 2016. According to a press release on the site, Chick-fil-A’s macaroni and cheese dish follows a classic recipe, incorporating a special blend of cheeses including parmesan, cheddar and Romano. The dish is baked fresh in the restaurant each day.
“Mac & Cheese is the quintessential comfort food, and something we are so excited to offer our guests at Chick-fil-A,” said Amanda Norris, executive director of menu and packaging, in a news release. “We think it’s the perfect pairing with our Original Chicken Sandwich, nuggets and our grilled chicken offerings, but it’s also great on its own as a snack.”
Norris also mentions that the dish is available on the chain’s catering menu for those hosting a larger gathering.
The side dish was tested in five markets and passed with flying colors.
“We have a very high bar when it comes to adding a menu item,” Norris said. “But the feedback from our customers in the test markets made this decision easy.”
As if the mac and cheese dish weren’t enough to appease Chick-fil-A’s customers, the company also rolled out a limited-time beverage. The Frosted Caramel Coffee is available now through Nov. 9. (It’s considered a seasonal offering.)
The hand-spun treat is a blend of cold-brewed coffee with vanilla Icedream dessert and caramel syrup.
As summer winds down, so do the restaurant’s summer seasonal offerings. The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, Strawberry Passion Tea Lemonade and Peach Milkshake will be gone after Aug. 24.
Before you head to your nearest Chick-fil-A, download the restaurant’s app and make your order there so you can earn free food as you rack up points.
Enjoy that new cheesy side dish!
