Now You Can Print Photos From Your Phone Case Instantly Like A Polaroid Camera

Millions of people across the globe take thousands of pictures each year. But so many of them never see the light of day: as a tangible photo.

Tethered to the digital world, so many memories can fade because the art of printing and sharing photos has so drastically changed over the last decade.

Then I stumbled upon Prynt, and here’s why I’m so excited to share this new product with you: Prynt is one of the first of its kind: a phone case that allows you to print photos from your smartphone.

How It Works

According to their video, simply plug your phone into the case, take a picture, and instruct it to print. In a few moments, the case will spit out a 2″x3″ photo of your desire.

Why It’s Neat

The case is less bulky than I imagined, and certainly plays into the nostalgia of using a Polaroid camera. It doesn’t require Bluetooth or Wifi (a great selling point, in my opinion), and uses ZINK Paper.

When in college, I actually had the opportunity to play with ZINK technology from Polaroid. And it’s really neat.

ZINK Paper is a product that uses thermal technology to develop an image. It does not require ink, cartridges, toner or ribbons.

Rather, color molecules are embedded within layers of the paper. When heated, the the colors are activated and that in turn, creates an image. So no smudges, smears, or runny faces. Here’s a sliced versions of what the paper looks like:

I think this is such a neat new product. In fact, I could really see it taking off as a rentable service in the wedding industry.

Specifically, placing a few around the reception and allowing people to plug in their phone, take a picture, and when printed, adhere to a scrapbook with some well wishes for the bride and groom. It’d be like a new, portable version of a photo booth.

What do you think? Would you consider buying one?

See How This Dad Transforms A Boring Bedroom Into A Magical Treehouse

Dad of the year, GNDxero, made this epic treehouse-themed room for his kids a few years ago. What makes it so cool?

The fact that he builds the playhouse around two twin-sized beds, so his kids can sleep, play and interact with each other.

How It’s Made

On the top is a green netting. Meant to mimic leaves, it’s great for storing stuffed animals and [gasp] there’s a secret trap door to allow kids up into the foliage for climbing fun.

The bed-level has fun cut-outs for imaginative play. And below the bed, is a cool nook to crawl and pretend you’re underground, below the tree house.

Of course, he makes it practical too. He included built-in drawers for storage. His step-by-step instructional video is perfect for anyone that would like to try their hand at this project.

Perhaps the cutest part is when he reveals it to his kids at the end. They squeal in delight and immediately start to crawl, climb, and play in their new space. One can be heard saying, “Oh my gosh, daddy, this is the best thing! We should show this to the President!”

Do you know someone that would love this DIY project?

Why This Heinz Super Bowl Commercial Of Dogs Dressed As Hotdogs Is Lighting Up The Internet

In just a few short days, millions of people will be clustered around their TV, not necessarily for the big game, but for the commercials between the whistle.

One of most-talked about topics every Super Bowl Sunday, advertisers and brands spend millions of dollars filming, producing and buying the rights to be able to showcase their ads.

And Heinz Ketchup has stepped up to the plate this year. Their 2016 ad opens up with hundreds of Weiner (dachshund) dogs running across a field…dressed in hot dog costumes. But who or what are they running to? People-sized condiments, of course.

It’s cute, it’s funny and it’s unique. The extended versions was released on January 31st and already has over 1.6 million video views.

Here’s A Simple Way To Get The Perfect Spiral Curls Without Heat Or Styling Tools

I have curly hair and somedays, my little curls look magical. But most days, there are sections of my hair that just don’t want to cooperate. Youtuber, REAL BEAUTY by Cynthia, shares her tips for creating beautiful, voluminous curls without using a hairdryer or heated styling tool.

In her video, she uses the following tools:

  • A light, texturizing cream or mousse styling product (or none if you want a softer curl)
  • A teasing brush
  • A large clip
  • Lots of bobby pins

She achieves her look by doing these steps:

  • Put a bit of styling cream into 1-2″ section of her hair.
  • Tightly twist the section into a long strand.
  • Wrap the twisted section around itself so it creates a honeycomb shape.
  • Secure with bobby pins.
  • Repeat until your entire head is complete.

She then recommends to sleep in your hair like this overnight. The next morning,

  • Remove the bobby pins and unwrap each section.
  • With your fingers, gently pull apart the curls.
  • For a softer look, use your teasing comb to gently brush out a bit of the curls.

Would you try this? I haven’t tried it yet, but will check back in once I do!

Why You Shouldn’t Feel Bad About Skimping On Your New Year Fitness Plan

The definition of what it means to be “beautiful” changes year over year. I, myself, make a resolution every January to eat better, exercise more and carve off a few pounds from the holidays.

Wanting to fit into what society believes is the “ideal” body type is exhausting. Raise your hand if you’re with me.

Thankfully, the people over at Buzzfeed get it, and gave me a major confidence boost with their video. They created a short film that shows how the “ideal” body type has drastically changed over the years – and by societal standards.

And interestingly, as each model poses, you’ll notice they all appear to be self-conscious of some part of their body. Whether this was because the director instructed them to do so, or the models literally weren’t comfortable in their own skin, it’s comforting.

So when you have those negative thoughts of your cellulite, saggy arms, or droopy tush, squash them out – and remind yourself – the “thigh gap” isn’t going to last forever.

This May Be The Cutest ‘Sesame Street’ Moment Ever

In the video, a little girl, by the name of Joey, and Kermit the frog sing the classic Alphabet Song together.  During the short song, Joey can be heard inserting “Cookie Monster” into a few parts of the alphabet as a silly joke.

Her laugh is infectious and Jim Henson’s ability to improv on the spot both verbally and with Kermit’s facial expressions are what has made Sesame Street so wonderful for so many years.

If you ever need a little smile, just go back and watch this video. Enjoy!

  1. Park closest to the shopping cart return, this will make it easier when you’re ready to get out of the parking lot ASAP.
  2. Cover the dirty handle bar with a pool noodle so kids don’t put their mouth on it.
  3. Stick to the perimeter of the store to avoid snacks & sweets.
  4. Most butchers will cut individual portion sizes and wrap them for freezing – simply ask!
  5. When your cart is getting full, tie your purse or re-usable bag to the cart’s handle using a produce bag for instantly more storage space.
  6. Playing with a twisty tie is a great way to keep kids entertained while you’re shopping (caution: don’t give this to toddlers, for they may try to eat it).
  7. Pack a cheerio necklace for your kids to munch on so they don’t have a meltdown when they see their favorite snack in the store.
  8. The fast-checkout lane takes just as long as the regular lane.
  9. Ask your bagger to pack frozen and refrigerated items in the same bags, this makes for easier sorting and putting-away when you get home.
  10. For easier unloading, put your grocery bags in a laundry basket and carry them in all at once.
  11. When loading up the fridge, have a bin dedicated to food that is expiring soon so it is eaten first.
  12. Use binder clips to hang vegetable bags in the freezer – this helps save space & avoid freezer burn.
