You know what grinds my gears? Finding an amazing deal on frames and dishware at HomeGoods only to struggle getting that dang sticker off the middle of the glass or the bottom of the bowl.

Clearly, I can’t display my niece’s cute little face when sticker residue is stuck in the middle of the frame. Grr.

Thankfully, our friends at Home Made Simple shared an easy solution to solve to solve this problem: use a hairdryer to heat up the sticker and soften the glue. After a minute or so, it should peel right off. You’re welcome.

This Hands-Free Dustpan Will Make Cleaning Your Floors So Much Easier

The products and services mentioned below were selected independent of sales and advertising. However, Simplemost may receive a small commission from the purchase of any products or services through an affiliate link to the retailer's website.

While I love hardwood floors, keeping them clean is quite a chore. With pets and children, messes can accumulate quickly. Even with a thorough sweep, the little bits left after you use a dustpan can be aggravating and seem to multiply on a whim.

Thankfully, a new product is on the market to help make cleaning a little bit easier. It’s called the Eye Vac and it replaces your need for a conventional dustpan.

How does it work? Simply sweep your dirt and debris in front of the machine and it sucks it up into its canister. When full (a little red light goes off), simply dump the contents into a garbage can.

There is a manual or automatic suction mode so pick whichever setting you like best. Also, included in the design is a HEPA filter, which will help clean the air it sucks up as well.

I found two versions on Amazon:

Eye Vac EVPRO Professional Touchless Stationary Vacuum ($96.77). This model comes in white or black.

Eye-Vac Home Touchless Vacuum ($98.98). This model comes in white only.

While both have 4.5 stars ratings, I noticed the “Professional” version is a 1400 Watt vacuum while the “Home” version is only 1000 Watts. Considering they’re essentially the same price, I’d buy the one with the higher wattage and power.

Here’s a review from the product’s website:

“I have three big labs. I was pulling out the vacuum everyday to pick up hair. Now I simply sweep the hair to the Eye-Vac and dump the receptacle once a week. Worth every penny of the very reasonable price.”

Watch Dick Van Dyke Relive Bert And Dance To ‘Step In Time’ In Mary Poppins Tribute

At 90 years old, Dick Van Dyke has still got the moves. On Sunday, February 21st, Disney revisited some of its most iconic films in its “Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” show.

What was so magical is that Derek Hough (Dancing with the Stars) played Dyke’s character, Bert, for the song. And at 1:16 in the video, Hough opens a set of doors on the stage to reveal the one and only, Dick Van Dyke.

Dyke promptly hops onto stage and performs part of the dance sequence just as he did over 50 years ago when the film was first released in 1964.

As you can imagine, the crowd went wild at Dyke’s surprise appearance.

Tips To Maximize Storage Under Your Bathroom Vanity And Sink

Our bestie, Home Organizing by is at it again – she’s sharing helpful tips to organize under your bathroom vanity and maximize your space. What’s different about items in your bathroom (vs. under the kitchen sink) is your bathroom items are usually a lot smaller. In this video, her tips are:

  • Use varying sizes of stackable bins (you can get them online, at The Container Store, or Walmart) to store toilet paper, beauty products, etc.
  • Buy smaller bins to fit around the annoying J-pipe so you don’t lose space.
  • Under the bins, use putty to help keep them from moving.
  • Organize your bins into things that make sense: every day items, perfumes, hair products, first aid, cleaning products, feminine care, etc.
  • Use an over-the-door bin on one side to store taller items like: hairspray, lotions, and extra beauty products.
  • Use another over-the-door bin to store your hairdryer

While she didn’t mention these tips in this video, I did like her other storage solutions in this other cabinet storage video.

  • Place a tension rod 3/4 of the way from the top of the cabinet to hang cleaning supplies, towels, and more on one side. One the other side, she uses the rod to hand headbands, hair claws, etc.
  • Sticky hooks on the door can be used to hang hand towels and hair dryers.

The Best Way To Organize The Cabinets Under Your Kitchen Sink

The products and services mentioned below were selected independent of sales and advertising. However, Simplemost may receive a small commission from the purchase of any products or services through an affiliate link to the retailer's website.

If you have too much stuff in a small space, you need to watch this video. Here, Home Organizing by shows her tips and advice on how to best organize under the kitchen sink. Her tips include:

  • Over-the-door hanging shelves and racks create extra space (she recommends to use putty under the hangers and against the doors so they don’t rattle).
  • Add stackable shelves of varying sizes with jumbo labels to easily know what’s in each.
  • Use sticky hooks and a simple binder clip to hang gloves or cleaning towels along the empty wall space.
  • You most likely have an outlet under your sink. Label what each plug is used for (disposal, dishwasher, fridge, etc) so in case you need to service something, you don’t have to guess.
  • Use a tension rod to keep paper towels in their place.

How To Unclog A Toilet If You Don’t Have A Plunger

Unfortunately, we’ve all been there: The toilet gets clogged. While this video makes the disclaimer than it doesn’t work for every clog, this plunger-free method is definitely worth a try if you cringe and shudder at the mere thought of picking up a plunger like I do.

Using some common household dish soap and a bucket of hot water, our handy friends from were able to unclog a wad of paper towels from the toilet shown.

But how? What happens is that the soap (which is heavier than the water in the toilet bowl) seeps into the clog and lubricates the trapway. The hot water helps loosen the clog and flush it away.

Many reviews claim it’s worked by itself, some say laundry detergent works better. For stubborn clogs, one reviewer had to use the additional assistance of a plunger (bummer). Will you try this?

Watch These Newborn Twins Cuddle; It’s Like They Haven’t Realized They’ve Been Born

We’ve got a baby story that will melt your heart. In the video, published by Jeshal in 2014, you see a set of twins getting their first bath by nurse, Sonia Rochelle. She calls this bath a, “Baby Spa” and it doesn’t involve soap.

In the first two minuets of the video, the babies appear to be snuggling and intertwined, as if they were still inside their mommy’s belly. We all know that twins share a special bond and connection, but this takes it to a whole new level.

Now You Can Discover Every Shade In The Rainbow With This Beautiful Color Thesaurus

Ingrid Sundberg is an author, specifically for children’s books. As you can guess, she has an insatiable thirst for collecting words to use in her books. Because people imagine things through words, being as descriptive as possible can help bring a character or event to life in a vibrant way.

On her blog, she states, “I can paint a more evocative image in my reader’s mind if I describe a character’s hair as the color of rust or carrot-squash, rather than red.”

So she decided to create this color Thesaurus. She accomplished it by going to her local hardware store and gathering the paint swatches that colorfully adorn the wall.

This Thesaurus is helpful for people that want to consider paint colors for their home, try out different types of make-up, dye their hair a new color and so much more.

When you look at her collection below, it’s memorizing and quite calming. Enjoy!

These days, it seems many appliances for your home are becoming multi-functional tools. Personally, I have a food processor and blender-combo that use the same motor. Having a smaller kitchen, I love that this saves on space. Makes sense, right?

If you have a fire pit, grill and outdoor table, you now can get a 3-in-1 outdoor patio set that combines all three. Dubbed the “Ultimate luxury grill,” the JAG grill 6-seat grill weighs about 110 pounds and the 8-seat grill weighs around 400 pounds. Pretty cool, right?

Do You See A Duck Or Bunny? This Optical Illusion Tells A Lot About You

When you look at this drawing, what do you see? A duck? A bunny? Or both?

This optical illusion first appeared in a German magazine in 1892 with the title “Kaninchen und Ente,” which translates to “Rabbit and Duck.” The image has now resurfaced on the internet and people are going crazy over it again.

Wikimedia Commons

According to psychologist Dr. Joseph Jastrow, if you can see both images, it means you’re creative. He suggested that the faster you can mentally flip between the two images, the more creative you are.

And apparently, the time of year during which you saw the picture can influence what you see as well.

The Mirror reports, “children who saw the picture at Easter were more likely to see a rabbit but in October duck was a more frequent answer.”

How Many Triangles Can You Find In This Picture?

Just think of all the cool things that are shaped like triangles: slices of pie, tortilla chips, cheese wedges, the yellow bird from “Angry Birds” and the cover of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon,” just to name a few.

There are also mysterious triangles like the pyramids, the Bermuda Triangle and Phil Jackson’s offense.

Hey, speaking of triangle mysteries, here is a brain teaser recently posted by Quora that has been making the rounds on the internet.

The image shows a large triangle broken up into smaller triangles:

So just how many triangles are there? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to total up all of the triangles in this photo, including the triangles made up of other triangles.

I’ll give you some time to count them all.

How Many Triangles?

So, ready for the answer?

There are *SPOILER ALERT* a total of 24 triangles in this puzzle. You can see an illustration of all 24 here if you don’t trust me.

And if you want to delve deep into the math, you can check out the discussion on Quora.
