This is pretty cool. Guides discovered a rare giraffe in Tanzania that is almost completely white. My first thought was that the giraffe is albino, but according to the Wild Nature Institute, the giraffe is actually leucistic. Unlike albino animals, animals with leucism have some level of pigmentation.
Dr. Derek Lee of the Wild Nature Institute first discovered this amazing animal last year in Tanzania’s Tarangire National Park. When discovered, a local guide named her “Omo” after a well-known brand of detergent.
And now she’s been spotted again. It’s great to see her doing so great. I love seeing beautiful creatures like this. Mother Nature always keeps amazing us.
You might think you were having a giraffe if you saw this…
A lot of people struggle with posture issues. It’s not a surprise considering so many people sit in front of computer screens or stare at their phones all day. The good news is that there are some simple exercises you can do to help improve your posture.
YouTuber rekrain put together three simple exercises that only take three minutes to do. And all you need to get started is a wall (so no excuses).
As a starting point, stand with your back to a wall . Tuck your chin into your chest and lean back so the back of your head touches the wall. If you can’t get your head all the way back as you start the exercises, rekrain recommends adding a pillow between your head and wall.
Starting in that position, here are the exercises:
With you head tucked to your chest, stretch out your arms and raise them above your shoulders. Keep you palms pointed to the ground. Repeat this 10 times
Starting with the position from #1 with your arms extended above your shoulders, bend your elbows to touch your ears. Repeat this 10 times.
With your head tucked, pretend you are climbing an invisible ladder with your hands out in front moving up and pulling down. Repeat this 10 times.
While this may not cure everyone’s posture issues, it certainly doesn’t hurt to try these and integrate them into your daily routine. So, if you need a little break from staring at your computer screen, these are some great and easy ideas to help get your body back in proper form.
Stir-frying is a great way to make quick meals. Once you master the technique, there are so many possibilities and different meal combinations you can make. And in case you’re new to stir-frying, it’s just a cooking process in which ingredients (meat and vegetables) are fried in a small of amount of oil while be stirred continually.
Cook Smarts put together a great guide to stir-frying. The graphic above walks you through the main steps to stir-frying. It also provides some basic sauce recipes to get you started. The longer graphic below provides a guide on how to combine different ingredients.
According to chart below, the key to stir-frying is the formula:
1 pound of protein
4 cups of veggies
1 tablespoon of aromatics (garlic, ginger, green onions, etc.) – optional
We’ve all heard countless covers of Disney classic songs, but this version of The Little Mermaid’s “Part Of Your World” may win the prize for the cutest cover yet.
Claire Ryan Crosby is the three-year-old star of this video. According to KSL.com, her father, David, said that two of her favorite things are singing and dressing up like Disney princesses.
In an interview with KSL, David wrote that “A few months ago, I was paying for an oil change, and when I turned around (Claire) was singing ‘Little Mermaid’ in the lobby while everyone had their phones out recording her.”
This sparked an idea for David. He decided to create a professional quality version of Claire singing one of her favorite songs. The duo worked on the recording for about a week and then David published it on YouTube.
I think it’s safe to say it turned out pretty darn perfect.
Roosevelt was born with deformed front paws, but he’s never let that slow him down. He was rescued by New England Border Collie Rescue and then adopted by a family in 2010. When he was adopted, he was outfitted with a special wheelchair.
For New Year’s Eve, the family took Roosevelt on a little ski trip so could join in the fun with the other dogs.
Here’s to you Roosevelt for not letting anything get in the way of enjoying life.
If you’re like me, you love any pasta dish. I especially love chicken alfredo. Unfortunately, while it tastes amazing, the heavy creamy sauce comes with a lot of calories. So what do you do?
Thankfully, PopSugar Food has come to the rescue. They found a great way to make chicken alfredo that keeps the amazing taste but without all the calories from a heavy cream sauce.
What’s the secret you ask? Well, according to the video, you swap out the cream with plain yogurt (or Greek yogurt). Then, you add salt, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes to the yogurt to bring in some flavor.

It’s that time of year when you get into your car and the windows are all fogged up. The simple (and slow) way is to hit the defog button and just wait it out. Unfortunately, that can take a little too long.
Thankfully, Mark Rober decided to figure out what is the fastest and most efficient way to get the windows cleared up. His method is said to be twice as fast as using the traditional defroster.
In the video above, Rober explains his different tests and why his recommended method works so well. The basic process is pretty simple. Just do these four steps:
Turn the heater on at full power
Turn on the AC
Turn off the inside air circulation (there’s typically a little button for this).
Crack the windows open slightly
Be sure to watch the video as it’s helpful and answered some of my questions.
